Hélena Hotel
Chania - Crete

A classic, traditional house in the Old graphic Venetian port of Chania which maintains the architectural style from the Turkish and the Venetian periods.
The hotel’s style is traditional and simple and gives a feeling of warmth and hospitality to our guests from the very first moment of their arrival.
The view from window was beyond words. You can see beautiful Venetian harvor. Everyday in the morning, in the evening, I used to spend time to see slowly changing scenery.Staff was very friendly and gave me kind advices to enjoy Chania.
Wonderful host George gave us lots of great tips. The room was clean and spacious with nice bathroom. The location was in the old town within walking distance of all main attractions.
The location was excellent right in old town with a view of the port The manager George was very kind and had many recommendations for us to see and places to eat .
Great place to stay. Spacious, clean and very convenient. The apartment had everything you need. Helpful and friendly host. Location of the apartment is very good for exploring Chania by foot. Good value for money. Big recommend from me! :)
I loved my short stay at Helena Hotel and I really wish I could’ve stayed longer. The view of the room was absolutely incredible, the best view I had in Chania yet! The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, very centrally located in old town. The hosts were always helpful and super welcoming! Thank you!
The hotel was in an amazing location overlooking the bay, but back behind the crowd.George, the receptionist, was so helpful and friendly as giving us a map with notes he made for us with recommendations. The cleaning stuff was also amazing. You will not go wrong with this place unless you are used to big boring resorts.
Couldn’t have been a better location right off the main walkway next to a lot of restaurants! Staff was one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and George gave me plenty of recommendations on places to eat.
Helena Hotel location is fairly safe from the more crowded streets with taverns, enough to make the staying peaceful, relaxing. Also, just a couple of minutes of walking distance to bars, taverns, convenience stores and the pier. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful.Everything else was fine, just as you'd expect from an accommodation in an the old city building, very close to the sea.
The hosts George and Xrysa were both warm, welcoming, and very helpful. They made my stay so much more enjoyable. The room was amazing, clean, comfortable, warm, and with amazing views over the harbour. The location was fabulous, two minutes walk to the harbour, cafes, restaurants, and shops.
Location was great. Could view a glimpse of the sea from the window. Short walk the port, restaurants, lighthouse, etc. George was amazing, asked every time we approached if we needed something and gave the best recommendations for food, etc… even beyond our time in Chania. He was a pleasure to be around. He even walked with us to get a taxi from the hotel to taxi pick up.
